Performing art deeply woven into the social fabric of Africa involving aspects of music and theatre as well as rhythmic bodily movement.

Ballet/Tap/Tumble               

An hour and a half of ballet, tap and tumble technique.

B​allet â€‹

An artistic dance form performed to music using precise and highly formalized set steps and gestures. We specialize in the Cecchetti ballet technique which focuses on injury prevention.

Jazz ​
​Jazz dance combines techniques of classical ballet and modern dance with the current forms of popular dance.



​Hip Hop

Hip-hop dance is a vibrant form of dance that combines a variety of freestyle movements to create a cultural piece of art. Through its three main styles of popping, locking, and breaking, hip-hop dance has evolved into one of the most popular and influential styles of dance.


Lyrical

Lyrical dance is a style that combines ballet and jazz dancing techniques. It is performed to music with lyrics so that it inspires expression of strong emotions.

Pointe

Pointe technique is the part of classical ballet technique that concerns pointe work, in which a ballet dancer supports all body weight on the tips of fully extended feet within pointe shoes.

Stretch

Stretching is a form of physical exercise in which a specific muscle or tendon (or muscle group) is deliberately flexed or stretched in order to improve the muscle's felt elasticity and achieve comfortable muscle tone. The result is a feeling of increased muscle control, flexibility, and range of motion.

Tap

A dance performed wearing shoes fitted with metal taps, characterized by rhythmical tapping of the toes and heels.
